Do you have medications in stock?

Our medical team can prescribe over 10 medications. We are experts in weight loss and can help you find an effective treatment that is in stock, effective and safe. Ozempic is also currently in stock, however Mounjaro continues to be in short supply across Canada.

What medications can I get?

The medications available through our platform include a class of drugs called GLP-1s. In addition, we also offer alternative medications that are effective for weight loss. For more details, click here.

How do I maximize my weight loss?

For the best results, we recommend working with one of our expert coaches AND medical treatment at the same time.

By combining metabolic coaching and treatments, you may up to 15% of your body weight on average. For some people, the weight loss is even higher than 20%.

And the best part? By working with our coaches in the Metabolic plan, you make changes that help you keep the weight off in the long term!

Are medications covered by insurance?

This will depend on your insurance policy. The good news is that if you are covered, cloudcure's partner pharmacies will be able to bill your insurer directly. Read more about insurance coverage here.

How much does this cost?

Our programs start at $49 per month, with no sign-up fees or contracts. The cost of the medication is separate, and depends on the dosage.

Medication cost may also be fully or partially covered by your private health insurance plan.

Do I need an appointment to get a prescription?

As part of your initial assessment you will schedule a video appointment with a healthcare practitioner to discuss the most appropriate treatment plan for you. 

In addition, you may be required to make an appointment for lab tests as your prescription will be conditional on your lab results.

Who is eligible to join the cloudcure program?

Anyone can complete the initial online assessment. From there, a cloudcure healthcare practitioner will determine if treatment is appropriate based on your health information. Patients must either reside in Alberta, Ontario or reside in British Columbia and be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada. Patients are required to be in Canada while receiving care.

Can I get an Ozempic prescription online?

Ozempic will be one of several medications available to you as part of your online visit with cloudcure. You’ll be able to request Ozempic as part of your online visit, but this prescription will always be subject to approval by a cloudcure practitioner. 

If your prescription is approved, we will ship it to your door, free of charge.

Can I use my own pharmacy?

With cloudcure, you can work with our pharmacy partners to ensure you get quality medication, delivered hassle-free and lower likelihood of supply shortages affecting you. However if you prefer to use your local pharmacy, we can fax the Rx to them as well.

What does your program include?

Our programs include educational resources to support your health journey, medical advice and prescriptions, insurance support, and free medication delivery.

Our most powerful program is the Metabolic Plan, which also includes regular sessions with a nutritionist or dietitian to help maximize your results.
