Is Wegovy available in Canada?<\/h2>\n

Yes — and has been since May 2024. Health Canada authorized it in November 2021, but Novo Nordisk didn’t bring it to Canadian pharmacies until a few years later. You’ll find it at most major chains now (Shoppers Drug Mart, Rexall, Loblaws, Walmart pharmacies, and independents) across all provinces.<\/p>\n

How much does Wegovy cost in Canada?<\/h2>\n

Without insurance, expect roughly $400–$540 a month. With private coverage that includes Wegovy, co-pays usually land between $0 and $80 monthly. Public drug plans in most provinces don’t cover it yet.<\/p>\n\n \n
