Cloudcure 101
Does Cloudcure replace my family doctor?
No. We are here to support your specific treatment, but we don’t replace your primary care provider. You should still see your family doctor for check-ups and general health needs. We’re happy to loop them in if you’d like.
Can I really be assessed accurately online?
Yes. We ask detailed questions about your health history and biology—often more than you’d get in a brief clinic visit. If our clinicians need to double-check anything to ensure your safety, they will reach out to chat.
Is Cloudcure a substitute for therapy?
No. We focus on the medical side of your care. While our program includes coaching to help with lifestyle habits, we aren’t a replacement for professional psychotherapy.
Are medications included in the subscription cost?
No, the medication cost is not included in your monthly subscription. However, it may be covered by your health or drug insurance plan offered by your employer.
Where are your services available?

Online Visits
How does the process work?
It’s simple. You answer a few questions about your health, complete bloodwork, and a licensed Canadian clinician reviews your profile. If they determine a prescription is safe and appropriate for you, they’ll create your treatment plan.
Do I need to be on a video call?
Yes. Your clinician would require a video call to discuss your medical history and profile, and explain how the medication works.
Can I skip the visit and just buy the medication?
No. These are prescription medications. For your safety, a licensed clinician must review your health details to ensure the treatment is right for your body before writing a prescription.
How quickly can I start treatment?
After signing up, you will provide some important information including your medical history. We will then provide you a laboratory requisition within the next business day, which can be taken to any lab conveniently located for you. As soon as the results are received, we will schedule your first appointment within 1 business day. If you provide complete information and visit a a lab right away, this process can be completed within 1 week of signing up.
Shipping
How much is shipping?
Free. We cover the cost of express delivery to your door.
How long does delivery take?
Once your plan is approved, the pharmacy usually ships your order within 2–3 business days. We’ll email you the tracking number as soon as it leaves the building.
Do I need to be home to receive it?
Ideally, yes. Since the medication often needs to be kept in the fridge, the courier will usually require a signature to make sure it gets to you safely and isn’t left outside.
What if my package is lost or damaged?
Let us know right away. If your package arrives damaged or goes missing, message our Care Team within 14 days and we’ll sort it out.
How do I update my address?
You can message our care to update your address. Just try to do it at least 48 hours before your next refill so we don’t ship it to the old address.
Privacy and Security
Is this legal?
100%. We work with licensed Canadian clinicians and accredited pharmacies, just like a traditional clinic. We follow all Canadian healthcare regulations and privacy laws.
Is my data secure?
Yes. We treat your health information with the highest level of security (bank-level encryption). It is confidential and only shared with your direct care team.
Is it safe?
Absolutely. We don’t cut corners. A real human clinician reviews every single file. If a medication isn’t safe for your specific biology, we won’t prescribe it.
Will you share records with my doctor?
Only if you want us to. Just ask the Care Team, and we can send your treatment summary to your primary care provider.
Pricing and Payment
How much does the medication cost?
It depends on the dose and medication. You’ll see the exact price before you pay. If you have insurance, we can help you apply it to lower your out-of-pocket costs.
How much is the online visit?
We do not charge a visit fee. Your membership covers all visits and prescription renewals for the year.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. We can’t accept debit or cash on delivery right now.
How do I update my payment info?
You can update your payment details by going to the billing page on our mobile app which is available on iOS and Android.
Insurance
Does insurance cover my subscription fees?
Sometimes, yes. Some private plans cover the cost of our services. In addition, you may be eligible to make a claim under your health spending account (HSA), if available. Please note insurance coverage varies by plan.
Does insurance cover the cost of my medication?
Often, yes. Many private plans cover these medications. Upload your insurance card during your intake, and we’ll bill your insurer directly, if covered, so you only pay the difference.
My insurer needs a "Special Authorization" form. Can you help?
Yes. We handle this paperwork frequently. Our clinical team can fill out the forms for you.
I forgot to add my insurance before my first order.
No problem. Your box will come with an official pharmacy receipt. You can send that to your insurance company to get reimbursed. Be sure to message your Care Team to add your card to your profile for next time!
